2026/2027 Aston AA Competition Cheerleading Registration is now open!
Kindergarten through 8 th Grade Field cheerleaders are eligible to participate in the Competition
Season.
***FIELD CHEER IS A PREREQUISITE FOR ALL COMPETITION TEAMS***
Team assignments will be determined based off competition age rules and the # of participants
registered.
The commitment level for the competition team is very high. Girls must be able to attend every practice
unless sick or at a school function. The routines designed for these squads are quite difficult and a child
will fall behind if she misses practice. Stunt formations require 100% attendance or the squads
performance is compromised. If your child decides she would like to participate in the competition
season, the team must be a priority.
Competing for Aston AA is a large commitment but a lot of fun!
Our teams are split by age:
6U/Flag: Our 6U team is an introductory program designed to give the girls the fundamental skills to
start their competing journey. The focus of this age is learning the basics of competition, getting
experience on a performance mat and in front of judges, and showing off their skills at local
competitions. All routines are based off skills that can be performed safely on the mat for our beginners.
8U-14U: Our older teams will be working on stronger and more difficult skills each year to be more
competitive during the season.
ALL teams will participate in the IYFL Cheerleading Competition in November-Date TBD. We must follow
the League Competition Rules for this competition.
In addition to the League Competition, All Teams will participate in 4-5 local competitions. The dates will
be sent out as soon as they become available. Competitions begin in December. The competition
schedule will be based on Competition availability. We also schedule with Northley Middle School cheer
for our older cheerleaders participating in both programs. Our season typically runs from September
through early March.
Our teams 8U-14U will compete at 1 National overnight competition. Registration pricing for this group
includes the cost of registration for the girls.
Uniforms: ALL teams will have the competition uniform this year.
**A $200.00 check will be required to receive the uniform. This check will not be cashed unless you fail
to return your uniform at the end of the season. ** Uniforms will only be handed out when registration
fees are paid in full.
Registration Fees include: Insurance, Competition registration/participation costs for each cheerleader,
Uniform rental, bow and practice shirt. Sneakers will NOT be included this year.
Competition spectator/entrance fees for families and travel (such as hotel stays) are not included in
registration costs. Sneakers are also not included in registration cost.
6U-Kindergarten and 1 st grade: Registration Fee: $225.00
Payments are split-1 st payment $112.50 Due 9/10/26
2nd Payment $112.50 Due 10/9/26
8U and older-2nd grade through 8 th grade: Registration Fee $350
discount code only available if paid in full by 9/10/26.
Payments are split- 1 st payment $175 Due 9/10/26
2nd payment $175 Due 10/9/26
Registration will close August 21, 2026
Practices will begin in September
